IPMS Stafford is a branch of IPMS(UK).
We are a friendly group enjoying all levels of modelling…, making kits mostly, but often modifying. A few brave souls even scratchbuild!
We love all genres of scale models. Anything military , and we have keen interests in cars, ships and anything to do with plastic modelling. We are not too serious, either, and meetings are generally lighthearted affairs, full of chatter, banter with a bit of serious modelling thrown in.
Our members are affiliated to many varied Special Interest Groups (SIG’s) within the IPMS, and have even been at the forefront of creating some themselves.
We are also honoured to support The Motor Museum in Miniature as part of the club, with members Rod and Ian Knott regular contributors to our displays. Check out their endeavours at www.themotormuseuminminiature.co.uk
We meet at The White Eagle (Polish) Club, Riverway, Stafford on the 2nd Thursday of each month. Meetings begin around 8pm, and generally finish around 10.30pm or 11pm.
There is, of course, a bar downstairs….the club meets upstairs.
There are club fees….BUT the first visit is always FREE!!
